Suns owner Robert Sarver has the Phoenix city council members he might move the Suns to Seattle!
In 1992, the Suns committed to a 40-year lease at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix. The agreement included a provision for the Suns to opt out at 30 years if the building and the building is considered obsolete.
So far the Phoenix City Council has not voted on a proposed $230 million renovation plan for the Suns’ arena by the Phoenix City Council delayed,.
Meanwhile Seattle in undertaking a 1/2 billion dollar or more renovation of the Arena! Can Hockey and Basketball play in the same building????
Shouldn’t the name be changed to the Seattle Mists?
