NBC News: Jerome Corsi is behind QAnon

NBC News reported Tuesday night that Jerome Corsi, the rightwing flamethrower who “swift boated” John Kerry’s 2004 presidential bid, is one of three people behind QAnon, a rightwing group notorious for circulating preposterous conspiracy theories, including the infamous “Pizzagate” claim that Hillary Clinton ran a child sex ring in a pizza parlor, which led a deranged follower armed with an AR-15 to fire shots inside the pizza parlor.

The others are people you never heard of, including a small-time YouTuber. And there’s evidence that “Q” is a guy named Coleman Rogers. Read NBC’s expose here.

Corsi, who was draft age during the Vietnam War but did not serve, is best known for attacking the legitimacy of Kerry’s Vietnam War medals. He currently works for Alex Jones’ InfoWars, also notorious for peddling baseless conspiracy theories, including the argument that the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting was a hoax.
