Jury Acquits Oregon Wildlife Refuge Occupiers

A federal jury has acquitted seven defendants, including two Bundy brothers, of conspiracy charges related to their armed takeover of a federal wildlife refuge in Oregon, apparently persuaded by defense arguments that the occupation was an act of civil disobedience and protest. Earlier, 11 other defendants pleaded guilty in the case. The Bundys still face federal charges related to the Nevada standoff. Read story here and here.
