Donald Trump spent his (tax deduction) foundation’s money to purchase a portrait of himself.
“You’re a director of the Trump Foundation charity, did you sign off on charity money for a portrait?” a WTAE local news reporter in Pittsburgh asked Donald Trump Jr., a director of the Foundation
“I don’t know anything about that,” Trump Jr., said.
When the reporter began to ask a follow-up question, an aide reportedly cut in to stop the interview.
“Alright, that’s it,” the off-camera voice said. “We have to move on to the next one.”
The Foundation also claims not to know who got the portrait and where it is now.
