Is Hillary FDR?

David Brewster thumbnail icoDavid Brewster
This is a fascinating article about the growing influence of the impatient Progressive Left on the Democrats and on Hillary’s politics. The focus is on the central role of the Roosevelt Institute’s Felicia Joy Wong and economist Joseph Stiglitz. Seattle will play a big role in all of this, and local SEIU president David Rolf is quoted toward the end. I see Hillary as being like FDR in a time of ideological flux, who will keep various ideological groups thinking that they have her ear fully, but will navigate among them.
A coalition of progressives has been quietly building a plan to bring Occupy-style ideas into the political establishment. Will the Democratic nominee get on board?
