MAKING IT SIMPLE

06-hillary-clinton-immigration-giddy.w529.h529Hillary won DC.

So by current count Hillary Clinton has won:

  • 2214 pledged delegates (a majority),
  • 15,796,181 votes (3,742,069 more than her closest competitor),
  • 34 of 57 caucuses and primaries (a majority),
  • and the support of 581 of 714 unpledged delegates (a majority).
  • There are no more primaries or caucuses.

FACT: HILLARY CLINTON IS THE PRESUMPTIVE DEMOCRATIC NOMINEE FOR PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

Hilary’s policy proposals are not very different from Bernie’s.

Both believe in:

  • Fair taxes
  • Repairing our crumbling infrastructure
  • Helping students obtain a college education.
  • Promoting peace
  • Equal opportunity for all
  • Rational immigration policies

What is next?

Hillary  knows that in order to get what the country needs, she needs to negotiate with an intransigent Republican congress. She also knows that the middle class is being over taxed, and to get the funds to support her programs, the tax base needs to be expanded. Every one needs to contribute.

  • Wall Street can not be a slogan, the banks and corporations needs it be part of the real world solution .. an American part of that solution.
  • The same is true of our unions, workers need a voice but unions are not always right especially when ti comes ot protectionism.
  • Protectionism is another bad slogan.  We need to lead the world economy, that means be part of an economy that works with China, India and the upcoming economies  to make the world better for all.
  • Israel need to be given a clear choice, that means the price for continued American support has to be a firm effort to create a Palestinians state even in the face of fanaticism by Hamas.
  • The Republicans need to be led in better directions.  She can not di that but an effective Democratic party can make it so that the GOP has no other choice. .
