CNN reports that “most” of Sen. Marco Rubio’s advisers admit “he does not have a path to the nomination” and some are recommending he drop out of the race before Florida’s primary.
From CNN: “A battle is being waged within … Marco Rubio’s campaign about whether he should even remain in the Republican presidential race ahead of his home state primary on March 15, sources say. … ‘He doesn’t want to get killed in his home state,’ one source familiar with the discussions said, noting ‘a poor showing would … hurt his political future.'” Polls show Rubio trailing Trump in Florida. But a Rubio spokesperson denied the CNN story.(Read it here.)
