Splitting WAstate .. Cascadia and Okanagon

Does anyone have patriotic feelings a\toward WASTATE? Why?
Most US states, including this one, are artifacts of history with little or no reason to think of themselves as anyway special or distinct. We are not Mississippi or Massachusetts with long and .. for better or worse ..unique histories.
Economically, both states would still be part of the US and I would guess  Cascadia .. would still benefit for electricity from Coulee dam. Our neighboring state (Okanagon?) would use our ports to ship agricultural products.
BUT .. the unique problems of a state that acts as a major NS conduits between Vancouver CA and CA itself, a state with an economy that is predominantly high tech, engineering, academic and small farms would be much better served under a gov and legislator elected here. The same is true for the irrigated, agricultural economy east of the mountains.
Here is one example of a Cascadian issue that s NOT Seattle centric. Our state need to plan for development of the Olympic peninsula Its economy has died due to the end of old growth lumber as a resources.
