Russian leader Vladimir Putin endorsed GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump today, calling Trump “bright and talented” and an “outstanding” personality. (Read story here.) Heck, why not? They’re a lot alike, and it’s only natural for bullies to gravitate to their own kind. Both these guys love to wheel and deal; maybe Putin figures he can trade Syria’s oil for some F-35s, fracking technology, and a new iPad for himself.
