Hillary brings something important to our State political scene and similar local politics across the nation. Barack did not build a political machine.Even today, FOB is a common term here but FOB in Seattle means friends of Bill. Barack’s on the ground effort is very, very weak. His organization, Organizing for America, will likely die in 2016, though I personally will support its local spin off in Texas where, as far as can see, OFA is our best hope for change.
Back here, and in similar localities acr9ss the US, BHO weakened the party across the country by abandoning the established Demo organization. I liked that in 2004 as I did not think the party had done a good job, BUT BHO failed to build a new machine in his image.
