As a Sephardi Jew I hold out my hand to my Arab brothers and sisters and with them Ramadan Mubarak.
Tonight is Eid al-Fir .. the feast that celebrates the end of Ramadan.

This is a good time for all semites to celebrate the huge role trhe Arabs playes in the creation of ur current era. From the time of Mohamud until the defeat of the Arab clworld by the Turks, Arabs created the highest level of science and philosophy humans had ever seen. Europe and the enlightenment grew from that soil, left behind in the universities and libraries that grew from the great harem schools of Andalusia, southern France, and southern Italy.
May this year bring peace to both of us.
