That’s what Mayor Patrick Rushing of Airway Heights, Washington, a Spokane suburb, posted on Facebook about the President and First Lady of the United States. When confronted, he blew off the remark as “just playful back and forth banter that my friends and I do.” It sounds like he and his circle of friends routinely crack racist jokes about our country’s leader.
The city council asked him to resign. He refused, claiming that doing so would be an admission that he’s racist. Duh, everyone already knows that.
