The millionaire insurance dude who lavished gifts on a sheriff for letting him play real-life cop is complaining that he’s being “unfairly” criticized. He claims he was “qualified” to go on the streets with a badge and gun, and that killing a fleeing suspect by mistake was an accident that “could happen to anybody” and is the “biggest regret” of his life.
