Who sponsored Geo. Zimmerman’s criticism of Pres. Obama?

Vigilante killer George Zimmerman made news again this week by criticizing President Obama for expressing sympathy for Zimmerman’s victim, Trayvon Martin. Let’s skip over the fact Zimmerman is alive, Martin is dead, and Zimmerman is his killer as possible reasons why Obama sympathizes with Martin instead of Zimmerman, and focus on the video of the staged interview Zimmerman gave in a lawyer’s office.

This doesn’t exactly look or sound like an impassioned defense by someone who believes fervently in the rightness of his cause. It looks a lot more like a semi-literate rube — which is what Zimmerman is — squinting to read a script from a teleprompter or white board. Listening to his answers to the interviewer’s questions, it strains credulity that Zimmerman wrote this stuff himself. Which makes you wonder: Who paid him to say this stuff? My money is on the usual suspects: The Koch brothers, or the Republican National Committee, or the NRA, or maybe sympathizers of all the above with a few Aryan Brotherhood donors thrown into the mix. Or maybe his lawyers dreamed this up as a publicity stunt, with marketing a book and appearances in mind. (Does he still owe unpaid legal fees?)
