    If the implication is that this is typical Muslim behavior, then yes, I would call it fomenting Islamophobia. The ISIS killers are terrible people. So are some Christians, for example, the BTK killer was president of his church. But what he did doesn’t make all Christians bad people or justify prejudice against Christians in general. We should judge individuals by their behavior. We shouldn’t judge entire groups because a few members of the group are guilty of bad behavior.

    I utterly disagree. There is no excuse for justifying Islamic behavior because Christians have behaved the same way.

    One of my favored imprecations is “How Christian of you!” That doe snot denigrate all Christians but .. sadly … it does apply to a lot of Christianity .. far too much to consider this barbarism an idiosyncrasy of the few.
    The same is certainly true of Islam. 90% of Muslims poled in Saudi Arabia and 60% or more in Western Countries consider ISIS to be following the quran.
