The Seawitch has predicted a Seattle win by 7 points. A computer program in Boston, lacking her skills, is less precise.

Paul Bessire’s PredictionMachine.com ran 50,000 simulated games. The PredictionMachine.com used some of the most advanced analytics available , found the Seattle Seahawks winning 57.3 percent of the time. New England Patriots 42.7 percent of the time.

The Predictalator calculates that Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson will throw for roughly 197.5 yards, while Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will throw for roughly 235.1 yards on Sunday. Will Tukuafu listed as averaging 0.5 receptions for 1.8 yards in its analysis. New England had the decided edge over the Seahawks. The Seahawks combine for 5.2 yards-per-carry, with Russell Wilson (6.5 rushes for 47.1 yards) and Marshawn Lynch (21.2 rushes for 100.7 yards).

The deciding variable? Seattle’s ability to run the ball against the Patriots.
