Has the GED been made impossible to pass?

 Two authors describe a test of high school trivia that may have little to do with preparation for real world jobs.  Could the Obama plan for Community  College fail because scaling up job training  is too easily replaced with a false attention to certificates?  While the President is proposing free community college, 80% of applicants for a GED can not even pass that test.
