Don’t get me wrong, I love the fact that we are even asking the question of whether a Black person adheres to some basic concept of blackness, but unfortunately one really does not exist. The question is raised about Wilson because he does the things that Black folk are not traditionally known for, i.e. studying hard and being detailed orientated as well as executing flawlessly. He is not less Black. We are just getting back to who we were before the slave ships arrived.
