Children’s rights activists Malala Yousafzai of Pakistan and Kailash Satyarthi of India and have won the Nobel Peace Prize. The Norwegian Nobel Committee cited the two “for their struggle against the suppression of children and young people and for the right of all children to education.” The Nobel Committee said it “regards it as an important point for a Hindu and a Muslim, an Indian and a Pakistani, to join in a common struggle for education and against extremism.”

I think they should have included an Honorable Mention for whoever made Kim Jong Un disappear. And, of course, a crate of raspberries as a consolation prize to Vladimir Putin.
