Independent Scotland may lose UK as energy buyer
After carrying through its threat to use its energy weapon to support the choice of Crimea to become part of the Mother labs, the Russian state media suggest that Britain may not choose to buy electricity from an independent Scotland if prices are higher than from other neighbors. Ex-NATO chief Lord Robertson warned that only the UK’s enemies would benefit from a Yes vote. Presumably one such neighbor is Imperial Russia. There are rumors that an English Prince, sharing blood with the Tsars, may be interested in returning to the throne of Imperial Russia.
