At his news conference today, Pres. Romney announced the immediate switch from paper currency, the venerable greenback, to a new currency based on what he called “a hard dollar.”
The currency, will be represented by a new coin… “The Ronnie .” To assure that these new hard dollars have real value, the president announced that each coin would have one dollars worth of depleted uranium embedded in the bas-relief of the former president.
The use of depleted uranium the president said “is symbolic of our greatest president and his determination that this nation will always maintain its military strength in opposition to tyrants who threaten peace and trade around the world. This uranium has been made during the process of creating our American armament and serves as a worldwide symbol of the rock solid basis of world peace underwritten by our military and by our dollar!”
