One wonders if this is terrorism?  I watched a movie about Aung San Suu Kyi  last night.  A lot of the movie was about her amazing patience and non violence.  People were asking what would Gandhi do if he were in a setting where non violence was itself repressed?

Someday, China’s Muslims and Tibetans will strike back. It is horrible to imagine the sacrifice of two infants on such a bloody altar.

Vietnam Searchers Report Spotting Plane Debris

Officials Say They Found Piece of Door, Airplane Tail

MILAN (AP) — Foreign ministry officials in Rome and Vienna confirm that names of two nationals listed on the manifest of the missing Malaysian airlines flight match passports reported stolen in Thailand.

Italy’s Foreign Ministry said Saturday that an Italian man whose name was listed as being aboard is traveling in Thailand and was not aboard the plane.

A foreign ministry functionary, who spoke on condition of anonymity, confirmed Italian reports that Luigi Maraldi had reported his passport stolen last August.

Italian news agency ANSA says Maraldi called home after hearing reports that an Italian with his name was aboard the plane.

Austrian Foreign Ministry spokesman Martin Weiss confirmed that a name listed on the manifest matches an Austrian passport reported stolen two years ago in Thailand. Weiss would not confirm the identity.

Yahoo News quoted local newspaper reports that the Vietnamese Navy said the plane went down into the sea about 153 miles south of Phu Quoc Island, just off the coast of the Vietnamese / Cambodian border.

Hmmm, this is suspicious. The plane disappeared as it entered Vietnamese airspace. The Vietnamese military seem to know where it went down. No emergency communications from the plane’s crew. I wonder if a Vietnamese fighter shot it down?
