Dear Stephen,
Have you made any Valentine’s Day plans with your special someone yet?
I’m Amy Bright and my husband, Lee, is running for U.S. Senate.
I know the Lee Bright that South Carolina voters see on a daily basis is an uncompromising fighter for our shared limited government beliefs and values.
Today I want to tell you a little about the Lee Bright that South Carolina voters don’t see – the Lee Bright that’s a loving father, a wonderful husband – and a man I know we can all be proud of if he’s elected to the U.S. Senate.
Of course, because this is the man I love, I do have a favor to ask! I hope you won’t mind!
But I want my husband to have the best Valentine’s Day ever. I know he’s hoping for a really big day for the upcoming 25 for 25% Money Bomb on February 25th
My hope is, once you hear more about the man I love from the woman who knows him best, you’ll agree to contribute generously to his campaign right away.
Every dollar you can give today will be counted in the 25 for 25% Money Bomb.

It’s hard for me to believe Lee and I have been married for 22 years now!
But I consider myself truly blessed to call him my husband.
I first met Lee at an Applebee’s in Spartanburg.
I was eating dinner there with a friend after work and Lee was doing the same. They came over and started talking to us.
Lee was shy and said very little, but I remember how warm and sincere he seemed.
Instantly, I felt comfortable around him.
The next week I went back to eat at Applebee’s, and just so happened to run into Lee.
We started talking again and he asked me out on a date, and needless to say, it didn’t take long for him to steal my heart – and we’ve been happily together ever since.
Together, Lee and I have two teenage daughters – which can sure prove to be a challenge for a dad – especially in our troubled culture.
But Lee and I have worked hard to instill in them our traditional values of hard work, personal responsibility and faith in God and family.
And we’ve always worked really hard to lead our daughters by example.
Lee has always been incredibly hard working, and that’s really what’s made him into the man he is today.
Even now, no matter how hectic things get, he still makes serving others a priority — and somehow still makes time for our family.

Like most families, we’ve been through our share of hard times.
Lee knows what it’s like to try and run a business under government’s heavy regulatory hand.
Some folks – good hardworking folks – just don’t make it.
But Lee understands it’s not the problems you run into in life that matter. It’s how you respond to them.
Ever since I’ve known him, when Lee runs intro problems, his first instinct isn’t to run away. It isn’t to whine and say “woe is me.”
Lee’s instinct is first to pray. Then he fights with every ounce of his being.
I wish we had someone like this representing us in Washington, D.C.
Sadly, instead of tackling our $17.3 TRILLION debt, all politicians want to do is run and hide.
Then they blame the few leaders – like Senators Rand Paul (R-KY), Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) – who are actually making a difference.

I know some politicians run for office because they want the prestige. They want to be able to brag about a fancy job title.
But I know our daughters, Kaylee (19) and Kendyl (15), are the real reasons Lee is running for office.
Like most parents nowadays, I worry about their futures.
I know whether it’s healthcare, job creation or an outright hostility to our family’s faith, our federal government is out of control.
I worry they won’t be free, and they won’t have the opportunities they deserve.
But I know Lee will fight for real change if elected to the U.S. Senate. I know he’ll be a Senator we can be proud of.
Today, I want to show Lee just how much I appreciate him and all he’s done for our family and fellow South Carolinians.
But I need your help.

Lee’s goal has always been to be the first challenger to get to 25% in the polls – and he’s almost there!
At that point, Lee believes, the big money needed to defeat Senator Graham will start flooding in from throughout the country.
Just last week, Lee’s campaign released a comprehensive poll putting him at 17%, almost three times more than the next closest challenger!
And if you agree that it’s time for a change in Washington, please make your most generous contribution today.
As I mentioned, I want Lee to have the best Valentine’s Day ever.

So please agree to your most generous contribution of $250, $100, $50, $25 or even $10 today.
I’ll make sure that your generous contribution will be counted to Lee’s 25 for 25% Money Bomb on February 25th
I’ve known Lee for a long time. I’ve seen him in his best moments – and his worst.
He’s a good man. And he’ll make a great U.S. Senator.
I know you and I can make this Valentine’s Day a special one for Lee.
So please give as generously as you can TODAY!
Sincerely,
Amy Bright
P.S. I want to make this Valentine’s Day an extra-special one for my husband Lee, and
I need your help.
Lee’s campaign is so close to their goal of 25% in the polls – the threshold when conservative groups from across the country will pile in and endorse Lee.
So won’t you please make your most generous contribution of $250, $125, 75, 25, or even $10 IMMEDIATELY?

Every dollar you can give will be counted in the 25 for 25% Money Bomb on February 25.
