Preschools are a right for women who bear arms.

Why Germany Is Failing to Boost Its Birth Rate

A 200-Billion-Euro Waste: Why Germany Is Failing to Boost Its Birth Rate

As the US authorizes women for combat, the theme of  victory is the right of young women to die in combat,  That valor is important for personal satisfaction and, supposedly, for careers in the military.
The trade-off, however, is that women who make this carer choice are at a  huge disadvantage if they want to exercise their right to bear children.
This loss of the right to bear children, as opposed to bearing arms, is not restricted to the military.  Young working women are at a huge disadvantage versus women whose class or choice permits them to be mothers.
The is loss of the right to bear children is dramatic even in more socialized countries.  Germany spends more on families than most European countries and far more than the US.  Nonetheless Germany’s s birth rate is falling. A government-commissioned study reported in SPIEGEL urges the German government to invest in preschools (more…).
Of course, the idea of preschools as a social right is a hard sell here in the US.  However, shouldn’t this right be part of the recompense for female soldier if we want them to have equal rights to compete in the military?
