Can McDonalds Make Money off of South Carolina’s New Gun Laws.

McDonald’s Fighting To Be ‘Relevant’ To Customers, CEO Concedes

Nationally guest counts at McDonalds fell 1.6 percent in the U.S. in 2013, according to a regulatory filing. And McDonald’s expects some challenges to persist this year.

To win back traffic, Thompson said the chain will focus on raising “awareness around McDonald’s as a kitchen and a restaurant” that prepares high-quality food. The opportuiyt offered in South Carolina is awesome. “Imagine each restaurant having an armed guard dressed as the Ronald McDonald” said Lee Bright a gun proponent who is running for Seante and raffling off an AR15 to support his campaign.  “I think McD of South Carolina should sponsor gun training for its employees!” Mr. Bright said.

The company has added options such as chicken wraps and breakfast sandwiches made with egg whites to keep up with the trend.  Chief Operating Officer Tim Fenton said on the call that some of the new offerings “over-complicated” the restaurants, forcing longer wait times. But guns may be a better answer!
