Next Sunday my wife will watch the Superbowl. I will too but she gets the better deal.
Why not more time for the girls?
Contrary to public opinion, boys of guys in Seattle are straight. We pay taxes to support the Seahulks and should get our fair share!
The girls do not even get paid much for dancing. Last winter , the San Jose Mercury News reported that a lawyer representing the cheer squad for the Oakland Raiders filed suit.
The Raiderettes’ lawyer, said the cheerleaders make only $1,250 a year, or less than $5 an hour, and they’re fined for minor lapses like bringing the wrong pom-poms to rehearsals or for “not turning in written biographies on time.” One of the plaintiffs added that the team also makes the women foot their own hair, makeup, travel, and photo expenses.
I wonder who pays for the bras?
The Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders ay that their girls must maintain “a high level of physical fitness” because “the DCC uniform is not forgiving.”,
Hmm. How does Obamacare fit in? These women are paid way below minimum wage and are part time. Who pays for their health care?
As for the Seahawks camp followers girls, coming from the most liberal city in the nation I wonder whether the Hawks are going to find a labor shortage once the girls can work at the Bunny Ranch.
On the other hand, assuming they are paid as badly as the other NFL girls, imagine how much the proposed $15/hr minimum wage will mean for them in Seattle! AND they presumably can get Obamacare for free !
