I am a photographer who really got excited by an idea that Minor White created. Minor’s book “Mirrors, Messages, and Manifestations” has a series of images where he pairs an abstract with a somehow equivalent portrait of a person. When I began using Photoshop, I realized he could go one step further .. constructing equivalents as composites. Many appear here as graphics, especially when I need to create an Avatar.
Right now I am trying to come up with an Avatar to use when I want to talk about Repricans. Here are some ideas for starting images. :
