Is Balmer Killing the Surface?

Balmer Blunders On …A Fellow Surface User Closes His Blog

BALMER green embossIt’s been a fun ride

I started his blog largely as an experiment, and largely with the hope that Microsoft would truly make a commitment to something different. I had a blast working on this blog and getting involved in the Microsoft community, but I must be moving on now.

To make a long story short, I have serious doubts about Microsoft’s commitment to the RT platform, and my heart just can’t be in it fully due to this. If the heart’s not in it, then why do it? There are other projects that I can give 100% to, because I know the other end is giving 100% to me.

With that said, I know and truly believe that Microsoft has the talented individuals to create great stuff, I just don’t have faith in the people calling the shots at the very top.

Needless to say, I’m selling my 32GB Surface RT with black Touch Cover effective immediately, $400 shipped. Comes with all accessories and box. If you’re interested, hit me on Twitter @ShinySurface or email, [email protected].

Feel free to drop a line below. Thanks for your support over the last 6 months.

From eWeek:

In stark contrast to how Microsoft handled the Surface RT launch, the company appears willing—if not more than a little eager—to get Surface Pro in front of consumers by distributing early floor units to retailers like Best Buy.

Lesson certainly learned, wouldn’t you say? By the way, have you seen one yet?
