I am sitting here wondering .. is there really an alternative universe? The one I live in and another for the Republicans?
The entire RNC struck me as if some TV guys from the era of Reagan .. the actor not the President … tried to make a political commercial.
About the only things missing were ads for the Marlboro Man, warnings about Commies, and ladies in petticoats as they vacuumed the place.
The old cowboy doing hsi imitation of Ronald Reagan talking to today’s President really did nto come off to well. The real Ronald Reagan may not have been very bright but he ALWAYS tried to play the good guy. How ese do you cell twenty mule team borax to ladies in nylons and swoopy skirts?
Is the Republican world unmodern? Or .. did I miss something about the world I live in .. the world with global warming, Arab democratic revolutions, American domination of the internet, multi colored Americans, a surging China and Brazil???? Don’t Republicans realize that even their ladies do not vacuum in hoop skirts today? Vacuuming is what the brown ladies from El Salvador do!
