Well, we Jews do not actually celebrate Christmas. Jesus is not reeally our thing. As it happens though I do have a birthday coming, Jan 1st!
All my life, well since college, I wanted a better camera then I could afford. Usually this want meant a Hasselblad. For those who do not know, in the film days the Hasselblad used 6 cm x 6 cm (2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″) film to make awesome images no puny 35 mm cameras could approach. In those days a ‘blad cost thousands of dollars. Hell, I could not even afford a Nikon, instead I bought the low priced Nikkormat line because I knew the Nikkor lenses, not the body, were what I needed.
Still,there were those amazing Zeiss, Carl Zeiss !!, lenses on the ‘blads. My wonderful parents did buy a Bronica for me, bot the Nikkor lenses on the Bronics were no match for those Zeiss lenses.
So, to all my loved ones today, here is another chance!
