So, John McCain has been complaining about the end of DADT.
So, I was in the USN same time as John McCain.
I never did understand either DADT or the fuss about it. My CO was openly and, actually flagrantly, obnoxiously, stick it in your eye .. gay.Funny thing, no one respected him … not because the Capt. was gay but because he was very, very stupid.
Oh yeh, there were other gays, men and women. I never remember anyone caring except when we discussed ways to get out early. If anything, us straights might have been jealous.
Without any attempt to be snarky, I wonder if McCain had problems with his sexuality while kep in solitary in Hanoi? What does happen to sex in a fetid prison camp?
