Public Forum: “After Citizens United”, 3/10 at Kane Hall

On Thursday March 10, Washington Public Campaigns will present a  Public Forum at Kane Hall Room 220, UW. Beginning at 7 p.m., the program will deal with the impact of the precedent-shattering Supreme Court decision on campaign finance, and how citizens can combat the ruling. The panel will include John Bonifaz and Jeff Clements of Free Speech for People; Lynn Dodson, Washington State Labor Council; Steve Breaux, WashPIRG; and Dorry Elias-Garcia of  Minority Executive Directors Coalition of King County.  The event will be moderated by Enrique Cerna of KCTS-9. It will include a panel discussion and questions on the constitutional amendment strategy and its ramifications.

The event is free and open to the public. There is free parking in the underground lot accessed from 15th at NE 41st.
