Conn. Governor Wants to Review Colleges’ Hiring of Administrators

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy of Connecticut, a Democrat, says the state’s public colleges might be spending too much on administration. So he is proposing that the state’s budget staff review all non-faculty hiring at the University of Connecticut and Connecticut State University systems, according to CTMirror, an online news service that follows the state government.
