Can academically ineligible kids transfer into the UW if they aren’t football prospects?

Tate Forcier, lists Washington among his transfer options.

Good news? The 6-foot-1, 192-pound San Diego native was the Michigan Wolverines starter in 2009 as a freshman, but he lost the No. 1 spot.

“I’m really just looking for the best situation and the best opportunity,” Forcier said.

Forcier was academically ineligible for the Gator Bowl and would have to sit out a year if he transfers to UW. Academically ineligible?

With all the doggone snow we have gotten recently I am stuck indoors, fortunately there is the internet, thanks for giving me something to do. 🙂

As I remarked on my entry, I’m not comfortable sharing my address and phone number with all that would like to learn it on the cyberspace. Is it viable for us to email it to you or perchance the victor could be reached by email?
