Artful Activism Organizing & LIVE MUSIC Celebration

Starting February 16, 6-10pm
$5 cover for the music portion of the evening (8pm on).

Backbone Campaign is locking arms with our musical allies Publish the Quest. Band leader Jacob Bain was part of the DC crew for the last adventure and we hatched this plan on the flight home. Luckily the folks at Nectar were ready to play. SO join us for a celebratory evening of artful activism EVERY 3rd Wednesday!

Each gathering will begin with an activist roundtable and tactics training/skill sharing, followed by an inspiring evening of LIVE music and multimedia reports on local and national community struggles and victories. Our first gathering will include a report on a recent people power victory on Maury Island and the We the People Vs. We the Corporations rally and Summit in Washington, DC.

We want this to be a gathering that “lifts all boats,” so if you are with an allied organization – give us a call and we’ll make sure you get an opportunity to make an announcement at the event or collaborate more deeply on the next one.

BTW – we are going to build a giant freeway banner next Wednesday night and we’d love to use it to support your good work, so propose a slogan and let’s organize an action for a bannering action for Friday the 17th! The Backbone Office is 206-408-8058.

Now warm up your soul by checking out the amazing Publish the Quest and get directions to Nectar

Hope to see you there!
