Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) — General Secretary Kim Jong Il inspected KPA unit 2670.
After receiving a salute, General Secretary Kim Jong Il dropped in at the operation command room to learn about the unit’s performance of duty and the training of commanding officers.
He was greatly satisfied to learn that the servicepersons of the unit are performing their guard duties in a responsible manner, keeping themselves highly vigilant against the aggression moves of the U.S. imperialists and their stooges and that the unit has prepared all its commanding officers as competent ones capable of skillfully organizing and commanding whatever difficult combat duties. He set forth tasks to be fulfilled to further increase the combat capability of the unit.
Noting that the servicepersons of the KPA have always advanced along the road of leap forward and innovations, General Secretary Kim Jong Il stressed that they are now glorifying the great Songun era by steadily creating valuable ideological, cultural and material wealth conducive to the prosperity of the country. This signal success clearly showcases the mental power of the patriotic KPA, he added.
Going round the supply service establishments of the unit, …..General Secretary Kim Jong Il praised the unit for having built various supply service establishments to the convenience of their living and its commanding officers for having taken good care of the soldiers as their brothers and sisters would do.
He expressed belief that the servicepersons of the unit would creditably discharge their honorable mission and duty as standard-bearers in upholding the Songun politics of the party before having a photo taken with them.
