We are told they make money. This is not true.
We are told that they help the UW in Olympia. really?
We are told that the football program has good academic record … that seems to be true, at least relative to other football programs.
But … does the program serve the fundamental ethical values we supposedly teach?
A new book by Seattle Time writers says that even at its winning best, the football program may be the worst example of collegiate ethics.
